Ingredients:
½ cup Salt
2 tspn chilli powder
2 tspn mustard dhal powdered coarsely
½ tspn fenugreek broiled & powdered
2 tspn asafoetida fried & powdered
¼ cup gingelly oil
1 tspn mustard
2 tspn chilli powder
Method:
1. Lightly pare the skin of the mangoes and mince finely
2. Mix the minced mango with salt, chilli powder, mustard dhal coarsely powdered, fenugreek powder and asafoetida powder.
3. Heat the oil in which asafoetida is already fried and splutter mustard. Remove from fire and add chilli powder. Fry over slow fire and when colour changes, take it down and cool.
4. Mix the seasoning with the mango mixture and stir well. Keep it in air tight bottles.
